We believe that every overdose death is a personal, family and community tragedy and potentially avoidable.
Furthermore, much if not most, drug-related harm can be reduced if only people had the correct information to make informed choices at the right time.
We therefore provide high specification, user friendly and interactive apps at as low a cost as possible to help reduce risks and prevent needless deaths.
Opiate overdose app:
This app has been launched on the android platform in the UK. It is the first of its kind in giving advice on emergency care including naloxone administration and basic life support.
Features include different pathways depending on the condition of the casualty, audible guidance, ‘press button’ options and a tutorial on opiate overdose.
An iPhone version will be ready soon, for further information please click here to register your email address.
Stimulant drug overdose app:
Are you or someone you know, work with or love at risk of an overdose caused by stimulant drugs like cocaine, speed, mephedrone or naphyrone?
We are developing an app to help you respond appropriately to people experiencing an overdose on these drugs. The increasing range of stimulants (and potency of some of them) raises the risk of overdose associated with their use.
This app will help you to calmly manage the person and use effective interpersonal skills or basic life support as necessary to the person’s condition.
It will be functional, interactive and informative in order to potentially prevent an overdose, stop one getting worse or keep someone alive until emergency services arrive.
